Fabric Selection Guide: 

Suit Coats and Pants work best with Wool and Velvet with cotton, satin or mesh as the lining. 

Vests work best with more sturdy fabrics like: Wool, Velvet, Suede, Brocades, and Upholstery. Cotton fabrics can work as well as long as they are sturdy (like the foiled cotton fabric). 

Hats work well with all fabrics except for spandex. A more sturdy fabric (wool, brocade etc.)  is going to make a stiffer hat, while lighter fabrics (cotton, velvet etc.) make softer/less structured hats. They are best lined with satin, cotton or mesh. 

Shirts work best with cotton or satin. 

Skirts work best with spandex, brocades, wool, or velvet. 

Santa Bags work best with upholstery fabrics, brocades, velvet and wool. Typically with a satin or cotton lining.
